A Photographer’s Journey
In 2016, Lauren Trantham founded Disruptors Org (Formerly Ride My Road) as a photography project. Lauren traveled over 10,000 miles solo on her motorcycle across the United States, photographing American survivors of trafficking. Along the way, she learned that human trafficking in the US is different than kidnapping or abduction. Since that time, Disruptors Org has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for survivor initiatives, hosted conferences and events across the country, and Lauren has photographed over 100 survivors. Disruptors Org continues to evolve, raising funds for Emergency Needs and educating communities about the realities of exploitation.

Choose your path of Disruption!
dis·rup·tion
/disˈrəpSH(ə)n/ noun
The courageous act of interrupting harm with hope. A refusal to accept “the way things are.” Disruption is taking action; funding survivor-led solutions, showing up, and refusing to look away.
At Disruptors Org, disruption means standing in the gap, challenging exploitation, and building something better in its place.
